Close associates of Tom Daschle say he has 'nicely recovered' from the contretemps in the Senate, now that he has returned to his $1M+/year 'advising/consulting' business, distributing milllions in 'contributions' to compliant Congressfolk on behalf of his clients, and free to cheat on and avoid his taxes without troublesome 'political scrutiny'. 'Also', Tom said', I've upgraded my friends and my ride. I'm now cruising the city in a borrowed stretch-Bentley'.
